About the Role
The TEKLA STEEL DETAILER will be responsible for preparing detailed 3D models and drawings of steel structures using Tekla Structures for fabrication and erection purposes. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Hyderabad Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating shop drawings, GA drawings, and connection details.
- Coordinating with design engineers.
- Interpreting architectural and structural drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Reviewing and correcting models and drawings based on feedback from the engineering and fabrication teams.
- Managing revisions.
- Maintaining organized project documentation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Tekla Structures
- AutoCAD (or similar CAD tools)
- Staad Pro (implied by company description)
- G-Matrix (implied by company description)
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Steel Detailing and Tekla Structures.
- Experience modeling steel structures and connections.
- Skills in preparing Shop Drawings and General Arrangement drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret Architectural Drawings and structural plans accurately.
- Familiarity with Rebar detailing and basic reinforcement drawing interpretation.
- Relevant technical qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related discipline (diploma or degree is preferred).
- Understanding of industry standards and codes for steel structures is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work within project schedules.
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
