About the Role
- Location: Beacon, NY (with flexibility to support Carmel, NY)
- Salary: $91,000 / year
- This is a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position, primarily focused on our medically acute program in Beacon, NY.
- The role involves working in a residential group home and day program setting for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities and medically complex needs.
- No on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing oversight and coordinate care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Advocate for the best clinical care possible through teaching, training, and audit activities.
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to work with a diverse team, including direct care staff, physicians, and other caregivers.
- Oversee medication administration and overall care documentation for assigned caseload.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience working with developmental disabilities is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
