About the Role
To provide technical solutions and commercial support for customer requirements by selecting appropriate seal/system, preparing technical proposals, supporting sales activities, and coordinating with customers, OEMs, and internal teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer RFQs, specifications, datasheets, and tender documents.
- Analyze process conditions such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, fluid properties, and operating conditions.
- Select suitable seal/system based on application requirements.
- Recommend appropriate seal/system.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Clarify technical requirements with customers.
- Respond to technical queries and deviations.
- Participate in customer meetings, discussions, and technical presentations.
- Prepare technical datasheets, deviation lists, and sizing calculations.
- Review drawings, BOMs, and engineering documents.
- Maintain application records and project documentation.
- Work closely with sales, project management, operations, manufacturing, quality, and service teams.
- Coordinate with global engineering centers and OEM partners for technical inputs.
- Support order execution and project handover activities.
- Verify customer purchase orders against quotations.
- Order entry in SAP.
- Address technical issues arising during manufacturing and commissioning.
- Maintain quotation turnaround time and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain records of quotations, technical submissions, and customer communications.
