Software Engineer (.NET and Angular)
SwiftB2B
About the Role
SwiftB2B is building an AI operating system for global supply chains. We are looking for engineers who own features end-to-end and treat reviewing AI-written code as the real work.
Key Responsibilities
- Own features end to end: the Angular screen, the .NET service, the data model, the API contract, and the runbook.
- Work with Claude Code and similar AI coding tools daily. Generate fast, review hard, and maintain a written review standard.
- Publish and agree API contracts before building.
- Design and prove event contracts on Kafka, demonstrating delivery guarantees by replay.
- Build identity and access on Keycloak and OpenID Connect, reviewed before build.
- Take ownership of at least one primary database (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) and maintain working depth in the other two.
- Ship through a secure CI/CD pipeline with automated tests, demonstrating accessibility and performance.
- Build agents that perform real work in the product (exception triage, document handling, customer-facing drafts) with a written boundary and a tested human gate.
- Hand over features cleanly, ensuring another engineer can modify them without needing further questions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Real production experience across the stack: C# and .NET on the back end, Angular and TypeScript on the front end. Angular 17 or later preferred.
- Strong relational data modelling on at least one of SQL Server or PostgreSQL. MongoDB experience is a plus.
- Designed REST APIs consumed by other teams, understanding the cost of ignoring idempotency, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Experience with event-driven systems; Kafka preferred, any service bus is fine.
- Hands-on with OAuth2 and OIDC. Keycloak is a plus.
- Serious use of AI coding tools with "war stories" about working with their produced code.
- Experience building agents with an SDK (Claude Agent SDK, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph) is a strong plus.
- Automated testing as a habit, not a phase. Playwright or similar for the front end.
- Secure pipeline experience on Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Azure experience. AZ-204 is a nice to have.
Qualifications
- A background in supply chain, logistics, or B2B enterprise software is an advantage.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
If you have shipped features that others maintained without you, and you have strong views on reviewing AI-generated code, we encourage you to apply.
