About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Kolkata.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil engineering designs and drawings for infrastructure and land development projects.
- Perform project planning, including scheduling, resource estimation, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Conduct site assessments.
- Perform calculations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Work on stormwater management solutions.
- Develop grading and drainage plans.
- Support construction activities through site visits and inspections.
- Resolve technical issues.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Assist with project documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in design practices and workflows.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering for infrastructure and land development projects.
- Experience working as part of a team of Civil Engineers, collaborating with planners, architects, and contractors.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, drainage design, and local regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and best practices for civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for reports, drawings, and stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
