About the Role
BDM Engineering Services is a leading provider of engineering and drafting solutions. This is a full-time on-site role for a Tekla Detailer & Modeler, based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating detailed drawings and 3D models using Tekla software to support structural and engineering projects.
- Interpreting design documents.
- Collaborating with engineers and project managers.
- Preparing fabrication and shop drawings.
- Ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Performing quality checks on models and drawings.
- Coordinating with team members to meet deadlines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Tekla software for detailing and 3D modeling.
- Experience in interpreting technical and design drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, and accuracy.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and fabrication processes.
- Effective collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in structural detailing and modeling projects is advantageous.
