Software Engineer Intern

About the Role

• Work directly with the Director to build, deploy, and maintain custom internal software and AI-driven automation workflows.
• Mandate is speed, clean architecture, and working software that solves real business problems.
• Provided with full access to premium AI developer tools and API credits.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Frontend/Backend: Next.js / React, TypeScript or Python, Tailwind CSS
• Database & Auth: Supabase (PostgreSQL)
• APIs & Integrations: Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, REST APIs, Webhooks
• Deployment: Vercel, Docker, or Cloudflare Workers
• Dev Tools: Cursor IDE, Claude / OpenAI APIs

Qualifications

• Proven Builder Mindset: Have built and deployed at least one functional web application or full-stack project from scratch.
• AI-Native Coding Skills: Deep familiarity with using AI assistants (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate coding speed, paired with the fundamentals needed to understand code.
• Solid Debugging Fundamentals: Ability to inspect HTTP requests, read server terminal logs, debug webhook handshakes, and manage environment variables.
• Database Fluency: Basic understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL), schemas, foreign keys, and CRUD operations.
• High Ownership: Resourceful, able to read official API documentation (e.g., Meta Developer Docs), and solve edge cases independently.
