Software Engineer Intern

About the Role

The Software Engineer Intern is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs that support cross-border payment functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient code.
• Debug and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on new features and improvements.
• Document technical specifications.
• Test software components.
• Enhance system performance and reliability.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Angular, JavaScript or similar).
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, server-side frameworks, and integration with databases.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Proven experience leveraging LLMs, prompt engineering, and autonomous AI agents.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.
• Interest in fintech and payment systems.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and databases.
• Ability to apply OOP principles in real-world projects.
• Ability to automate complex workflows and improve operational efficiency using AI.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, communicate clearly, and follow guidance from mentors.
• Willingness to learn about cross-border transaction workflows.
