About the Role
The Transportation Solution Division within the Leidos Homeland group is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer. This role involves testing key components of our air traffic control system.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing regression tests.
- Developing Red Hat scripts to automate and streamline processes.
- Assistance with system architecture.
- System concept development.
- Requirements engineering.
- Operational and decision analysis.
- Systems definition.
- System risk management.
- Requirements baseline management.
- Development of test approaches and steps.
- Execution of tests in a lab environment, including integration and debugging of multiple interfaces.
- Development of scripts and test automation tools.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Red Hat/Linux environments.
- Scripting.
- Software development life cycles.
- Testing methodologies.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Degree program in a relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science).
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
- US Citizen.
Knowledge of cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or digital engineering would be a significant plus.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including experience through academic projects, is preferred.
