About the Role

Ganith Online is an educational organization founded in 2012 that invites learners into the world of mathematics through engaging exploration. This is a full-time remote role for a LaTeX Writer.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating, formatting, and maintaining mathematics-related documents, problem sets, lesson materials, and assessments using LaTeX.
• Converting handwritten or draft content into professional LaTeX documents.
• Ensuring mathematical notation is accurate and consistent.
• Collaborating with educators to refine explanations and layouts for clarity.
• Proofreading for typographical and formatting errors.
• Organizing content repositories.
• Updating materials based on feedback from the curriculum team.
• Working closely with other team members via online collaboration tools to meet project timelines and uphold quality standards for educational content.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong proficiency in LaTeX for mathematical typesetting, including equations, proofs, and structured documents.
• Familiarity with version control or document management tools (e.g., Git, cloud-based collaboration platforms) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in mathematics (at least undergraduate-level coursework or equivalent experience) to ensure accurate representation of concepts and notation.
• Attention to detail in proofreading, formatting, and consistency across documents.
• Experience creating educational or academic materials, such as textbooks, assignments, or lecture notes, is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines for multiple projects.
• Clear written communication skills and willingness to collaborate with educators and content creators.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, education, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
