About the Role
The Experiential Teacher will design and deliver engaging, learner-centered sessions that integrate academics, creativity, and real-world skills in an online environment. This is a part-time, remote role, requiring consistent availability for scheduled sessions and preparation time.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning experiential lessons.
- Facilitating interactive classes.
- Guiding projects.
- Providing individualized feedback to support each learner’s growth.
- Collaborating with program leads to align content with DoubleSpace Learning’s philosophy.
- Using digital tools to track progress.
- Communicating regularly with learners and families to ensure a supportive learning experience.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Comfort using digital learning platforms and tools for remote teaching.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in learner-centered or experiential approaches.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing activities that connect concepts to real-world contexts.
- Effective Communication skills for engaging online instruction and clear interaction with learners and families.
- Experience in Training or mentoring learners, with the ability to adapt methods to different learning styles.
- Relevant degree in Education or a subject area, or equivalent teaching experience.
- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, respectful learning environments for diverse learners.
- Interest in innovative, personalized education models and openness to ongoing professional learning.
- Expertise in any domain is welcome.
