About the Role

Gossip Clothing Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Salesperson for a full-time, on-site position in Ahmedabad. This role is crucial for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, recommending products, and driving sales while enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their needs.
• Recommend suitable products to drive sales.
• Enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Maintain product displays.
• Ensure stock is organized.
• Handle billing and cash transactions.
• Keep the store clean and presentable.
• Meet sales targets.
• Track customer preferences.
• Share feedback with the team to improve product offerings and service.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to support promotions.
• Manage customer inquiries.
• Build lasting customer relationships.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, including weekends and peak hours.
• Reliability and a professional work ethic.
• Proficiency in local languages and basic English is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse customers.
• Sales and retail skills, including product recommendation, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Basic numeracy and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
• Experience handling cash, processing card payments, and managing invoices.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Interest in fashion and clothing trends.
• Ability to learn product details and advise customers on styling and fit.
• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Prior experience in retail or apparel sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
