Driver Development Engineer

About the Role

This role involves developing and validating device drivers, supporting embedded software development and testing on STM32-based microcontroller platforms, and assisting in hardware and software testing on prototype and production test boards. You will also participate in system-level validation during tester development, execute test plans, and support hardware testing, debugging, and automated calibration. Prototype board verification and basic design validation are also key aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate device drivers using C#/.NET under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support embedded software development and testing on STM32-based microcontroller platforms.
• Assist in testing and debugging hardware and software issues on prototype and production test boards.
• Participate in system-level validation during tester development.
• Execute software and hardware test plans and document test results.
• Support hardware testing, debugging, and automated calibration activities.
• Perform prototype board verification and basic design validation.
• Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, power meters, and network analyzers for testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EEE), Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I), or related disciplines from India premier colleges like IIT, NIT, BITS.
• 0 to 1 year experience (preferred 2026 graduated batch).
• Basic knowledge of C#/.NET or object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Basic programming knowledge in C, C++, or C#.
• Familiarity with electronic circuits and components.
• Basic understanding of communication protocols such as USB, I²C, SPI, or UART.
• Exposure to debugging and testing tools through academic projects or internships is an added advantage.
