About the Role

Walking Ferns is seeking energetic, patient, and dedicated individuals to join its core team as Learning Facilitators. This role involves facilitating weekly sessions directly with children, recording observations, assessing progress, and co-designing future learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly sessions directly with children on-site (3 days/week).
• Record observations.
• Assess progress.
• Co-design future learning experiences with the team (2 days/week).

Requirements & Tech Stack

• No specific qualifications required.
• No prior experience required.
• Willingness to be trained and supported.

Qualifications

• Passion for learning and working with children.
• Belief that children learn best through exploration, questioning, creation, and discovery.
• Patience and dedication.

Key Highlights

• Training: You will be trained directly by Gautham, founder of Walking Ferns and a leading voice in Kerala’s alternative education movement through Sarang.
• Location: Initially based at Kuttinaad (Kakkodi, Kozhikode).
• Future Opportunities: Potential to travel between upcoming centers near Chalakudy and Trivandrum.
• Initial schedule may include weekends with a transition to full-time/weekdays.
