B2B Outside Sales Representative

About the Role

As an Outside Sales Representative with Orkin Commercial, you will leverage a top-notch service from an iconic brand and industry leader with almost 125 years of experience protecting homes and businesses. This role combines competitive drive with the opportunity to maximize financial potential and contribute to business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver for commercial customers by utilizing in-depth training to recommend innovative solutions.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
• Conduct inspections of the interior and exterior of customer properties.
• Make recommendations to customers based on inspections, addressing questions, explaining solutions, and setting expectations.
• Prepare sales agreements and stay organized using a provided iPad.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.
• iPad for sales agreements and organization.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

• Safely use a ladder within manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willingness to work in different types of weather conditions.
