About the Role
Our client is an early-stage startup at the intersection of AI and manufacturing. This is an opportunity to be their first point of contact with the industry and build an outreach engine from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Build target account lists of manufacturers, machine shops, and hardware companies.
- Write and send personalized outreach to earn first conversations with prospective customers.
- Qualify interest and hand warm leads to the product and engineering team for demos.
- Sync with the product team regularly to ensure messaging reflects the latest features.
- Track activities in the CRM, test different messaging, analyze results, and iterate.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 0-2 years of experience.
- A formal degree. A technical degree is a strong plus, as is a non-technical degree paired with real technical curiosity. No hard major requirement.
- Exceptional written communication skills for concise, personalized emails.
- Curiosity, resilience, and persistence. Comfort with rejection and continued outreach.
- Sufficient technical literacy to understand and explain the product's value. This is a dealbreaker.
- Writing samples (e.g., newsletter, blog, or other published work).
- Ability to work fully in-person in San Francisco.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building processes at an early-stage company.
- Familiarity with outbound tools such as Apollo, Clay, Outreach, HubSpot, Salesforce, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Objectively impressive achievements in any domain.
