About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to identify prospective customers, generate qualified leads, and create new sales opportunities for the Account Executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Research prospective customers and key decision-makers.
- Generate leads through outbound prospecting and account research.
- Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Qualify prospects and understand their business needs.
- Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate prospect information and activity in Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Use tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales development targets.
- Represent the company at conferences and industry events when required.
- Travel approximately 25% as needed.
Qualifications
- 6+ months of outbound sales experience in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, or similar role.
- Experience with cold outreach and prospecting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working toward sales quotas and targets.
- Strong organization, persistence, and attention to detail.
- Startup or high-growth technology experience is a plus.
- B2B SaaS, technology, or technical sales experience is preferred.
- Background in chemistry, materials science, engineering, or another technical field is a plus.
