Data Analyst

About the Role

This role manages the procurement process for a given product set, applying sourcing policy and serving as an interface between the supplier and the entity regarding specifications and budgets. It focuses on executing standards facilitation activities and providing guidance within professional policies and routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and track purchase orders.
• Manage supplier relationships for purchase order execution.
• Handle issues and plan changes.
• Update ERP systems.
• Expand knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within your discipline to implement functional policy/strategy.
• Develop functional knowledge and skills.
• Understand key operational drivers and use this understanding to accomplish your own work.
• Understand how your team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to your domain.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
• Solve problems in situations requiring good knowledge and judgment according to established procedures.
• Consult with more experienced team members on issues outside of defined policy and/or parameters.
• Develop strong relationships with customers (for customer-facing roles) and serve as an interface between the customer and GE Vernova.
• Explain technical information to colleagues.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• For non-US roles: Requires basic experience in the function and digital audio workstation.
• For US roles: Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of functional experience).
• Knowledge level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
