About the Role
PwC's audit and assurance professionals provide independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information. They evaluate compliance with regulations, including governance and risk management processes. Internal audit professionals at PwC assist clients in setting up, optimizing, and delivering end-to-end internal audit services across all industries. This includes IA function setup and transformation, co-sourcing, outsourcing, managed services, and the utilization of AI and other risk technology delivery models. IA capabilities are integrated with expertise in areas like cyber, forensics, and compliance to address a full spectrum of risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and deliver end-to-end internal audit services to clients.
- Perform IA function setup and transformation.
- Engage in co-sourcing, outsourcing, and managed services for internal audit.
- Utilize AI and other risk technology and delivery models.
- Combine IA capabilities with other industry and technical expertise (e.g., cyber, forensics, compliance) to address risks.
- Gather information from a range of sources to analyze facts and discern patterns.
- Understand how the business works and build commercial awareness.
- Learn and apply professional and technical standards (e.g., specific PwC tax and audit guidance).
- Uphold the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.
