About the Role
The Civil Draftsman will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, preparing detailed civil and architectural drawings for building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update technical drawings.
- Coordinate with architects and engineers.
- Translate design concepts into precise engineering drawings using CAD tools.
- Support building plan approvals and statutory submissions by ensuring drawings meet applicable regulations and standards.
- Assist in revising plans based on feedback from project stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain organized documentation and drawing records throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software relevant to civil and architectural drafting.
- Skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering Drafting.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, including understanding of scales, dimensions, annotations, and construction detailing.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong spatial visualization.
- Ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of local building bylaws, regulatory standards, and approval processes in Ahmedabad and Gujarat is an advantage.
- Prior experience in building plan preparation, structural drawings, or consultancy environments is preferred.
