About the Role

MetaMount Films, established in 2023, is a film production company focused on crafting impactful narratives across diverse genres and platforms. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the post-production team by assembling footage.
• Organize media.
• Assist in creating rough cuts under the guidance of senior editors.
• Sync audio and video.
• Manage project timelines and files.
• Apply basic transitions and effects.
• Ensure continuity across scenes.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to incorporate feedback.
• Refine edits.
• Maintain consistent visual and narrative quality.
• Maintain organized project documentation.
• Adhere to production schedules and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in video editing using common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
• Basic understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual continuity, and sound design in film and video.
• Ability to organize and manage media assets, timelines, and project files with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with directors, producers, and other post-production staff.
• Ability to follow creative direction, accept feedback constructively, and adapt edits accordingly.
• Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Relevant education in film, media, communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• An interest in learning and developing advanced editing techniques and post-production workflows.
