Kolorpul is a small independent 3D animation studio creating Kolorpul Kathalu, an original 3D animated Telugu series set in rural village life. Our show is inspired by Etikoppaka lacquerware toys and Indian mythology. We are a close-knit remote team that loves storytelling and Indian culture.

Role

Junior Blender Animator (Full-time, Remote – India)

We’re looking for a passionate junior animator who is truly interested in our work and wants to grow with the studio for the long term. Help us bring Kittu and his world to life!

Key Responsibilities

• Animate characters and props in Blender for series episodes
• Work closely with the director on shot layout, blocking, secondary animation and polish
• Take feedback in regular reviews and iterate quickly
• Keep scene files clean and organised for the production pipeline

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Fresher to 1 year of hands-on character animation experience in Blender
• Good understanding of strong posing, timing, weight and the 12 principles of animation
• Your own laptop or PC with a good configuration that can run Blender animation smoothly
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly
• A long-term commitment and real interest in growing with a small, passionate studio
• A love for storytelling; familiarity with Telugu culture is a plus
