About the Role
The Guest Service Associate will be responsible for driving top-notch guest experience while facilitating the completion of all store-level tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
- Adhere to established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
- Operate the point of sale, maintaining proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
- Complete store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
- Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
- Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
- Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
- Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
- Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to perform basic computer functions.
- Ability to count, read, and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (e.g., outside, cooler).
- Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
- Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
- Support new hire employee onboarding and training.
