About the Role

Saarthi Trust is seeking a motivated, resourceful, and proactive individual to strengthen the organization's resource base and build partnerships for its community initiatives. This role is for someone who believes in social impact and wants to contribute to building an organization from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with potential individual donors, philanthropists, local businesses, entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and foundations.
• Explore CSR opportunities, institutional partnerships, grants, and other funding avenues.
• Mobilize financial and non-financial resources, including equipment, materials, essential supplies, and other contributions to support approved initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for in-kind donations, infrastructure support, and strategic collaborations.
• Develop connections with stakeholders who can contribute to environmental conservation, plantation, education, animal welfare, and community-development initiatives.
• Explore opportunities for resource sharing, institutional collaboration, and long-term partnerships.
• Independently identify prospective opportunities, initiate conversations, and follow up to convert them into meaningful support.
• Maintain a concise record of partnerships developed, opportunities pursued, resources secured, and next steps.

Qualifications

• Freshers, students, early-career professionals, and experienced individuals with an interest in fundraising, CSR, partnerships, business development, or the social-impact sector are encouraged to apply.
• Prior NGO experience is not mandatory.
• Initiative, integrity, persistence, and a genuine interest in community development are most important.
