About the Role
TalentGum is a leading global e-learning platform dedicated to transforming extracurricular education for children. We offer live, interactive online courses in music, dance, public speaking, art, chess, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach keyboard fundamentals to children aged 4–14 years through live online classes.
- Help students learn basic concepts such as:
- Notes and finger positioning
- Rhythm and timing
- Simple melodies and songs
- Create a fun, encouraging, and interactive classroom environment.
- Ensure students enjoy the learning process and feel motivated to practice.
- Adapt teaching pace based on individual student needs.
- Conduct demo sessions for parents and students.
- Take group and one-on-one classes based on availability.
- Track student progress and share simple feedback when required.
Requirements & Tech Stack
Music Knowledge & Skills (Beginner-Focused)
- Strong understanding of keyboard basics and fundamentals.
- Ability to teach absolute beginners patiently and step-by-step.
- Comfort demonstrating concepts slowly and clearly.
- Background in music (formal or informal) is a plus.
- Formal degrees in music are preferred but not mandatory.
Communication & Teaching Fit
- Good spoken English (additional languages are a plus).
- Friendly, patient, and child-centric approach.
- Willingness to learn and follow TalentGum’s structured curriculum and training.
- Ability to keep young learners engaged in an online setting.
Technical Requirements
- Laptop/Desktop with webcam (dual camera) and microphone.
- Stable high-speed internet connection.
- Access to a keyboard instrument for teaching.
Work Commitment
- 8 hours per day.
- Weekend availability preferred.
- Suitable for full-time.
