Subject Matter Expert

About the Role

The Subject Matter Expert role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Subject Matter Expert will provide deep technical and process expertise in electronics manufacturing, supporting teams across prototyping, PCB assembly, testing, and box build operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and refining standard operating procedures.
• Advising on best practices for quality and compliance.
• Troubleshooting complex production and process issues.
• Collaborating closely with engineering, production, quality, and customer-facing teams to optimize workflows, reduce defects, and improve overall efficiency.
• Contributing to training programs, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong expertise in electronics manufacturing processes, including prototyping, PCB assembly, testing, and box build operations.
• Experience with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop, review, and improve process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Proven skills in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for root-cause analysis, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly and to support training and knowledge transfer.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Advanced certifications in quality or process engineering are an advantage.
