About the Role
You will be working as a part of the Procurement management team, which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable. This role involves the identification of need, finding and qualifying suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery, and analyzing results.
Key Responsibilities
- Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations.
- Analyze and design the best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes.
- Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures.
- Provide the setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data, and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance.
- Solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
- You will be given detailed instructions on all tasks.
- This role may require you to work in rotational shifts.
