About the Role

Morgan Benjamin Search Group is partnering with an oil and gas operator to hire a Volume Accountant. This is an opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with a few years of accounting experience to develop specialized skills while working closely with an experienced team. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly oil and gas volume allocations.
• Assist with pricing and transportation cost calculations, accruals, and revenue accounting support.
• Prepare invoices and payment statements.
• Help reconcile volumes, inventory, and account balances.
• Research discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams and external parties.
• Prepare monthly reports and general ledger reconciliations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with numerical data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong organization.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Relevant internships or experience with accounting, reconciliations, invoicing, or reporting are helpful.
• Oil and gas or midstream experience is welcome but not necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

• $60,000 to $75,000 base salary, depending on experience.
