Junior Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Engineer role at RP INFRAPOWER PRIVATE LIMITED, based in Rudraprayag. The role involves supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of utility and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting senior engineering staff with site inspections, measurements, and quality checks.
• Ensuring work is carried out according to technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
• Preparing basic engineering documentation.
• Maintaining project records.
• Coordinating with site supervisors and contractors.
• Reporting progress and issues to the project engineer or manager.
• Supporting troubleshooting activities on site.
• Participating in review meetings.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of construction and installation processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational knowledge of civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering principles.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Basic skills in site supervision and project coordination.
• Ability to use standard engineering tools and software, including MS Office, and basic CAD or similar tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, or related field) from a recognized institution.
• Willingness to work on-site in Rudraprayag and adapt to field conditions.
• Willingness to travel within project locations as needed.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in utilities, infrastructure, or construction projects is an advantage.
