Production Engineer intern with PPO

About the Role

• BhuYantra Waste Management Pvt. Ltd. designs and manufactures innovative waste management machines and related products that support sustainable living.
• This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru North, with some flexibility for work from home.
• The internship is structured to provide hands-on experience in production engineering with the potential for a pre-placement offer based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in production planning and scheduling for waste management equipment.
• Support process optimization on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with design and operations teams to ensure smooth manufacturing workflows.
• Monitor quality parameters.
• Document production data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for CompostHut, VertiGRO, and AquaBin product lines.
• Prepare basic technical reports.
• Support vendor coordination.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and cross-functional partners.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering knowledge, including manufacturing processes and basic mechanical engineering concepts.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities for process optimization and data-driven decision-making.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Production Planning and scheduling to support efficient resource utilization and workflow management.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail in Quality Control to help maintain product standards and safety compliance.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for effective collaboration with shop floor teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru North and be willing to spend time on the shop floor as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should ideally be pursuing or have completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Candidates with familiarity in lean manufacturing, basic CAD tools, safety practices, or interest in sustainability and waste management will be preferred.
