About the Role
Ruchs™ is a DPIIT-recognized sustainable clothing brand focused on modular design and eco-conscious practices. We integrate advanced technology, including AR fashion tech and AI-supported design, utilizing virtual sampling to reduce fabric waste and carbon footprint. We are looking for passionate, creative, and detail-oriented fashion designers to join us in building the future of sustainable fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed and accurate technical packs (tech packs) for garment production.
- Create and develop original prints, motifs, placements, and surface design concepts.
- Research fashion trends, silhouettes, colours, fabrics, and emerging design directions.
- Assist in developing cohesive, commercially viable fashion collections.
- Work on garment detailing, fabric selection, trims, and finishing.
- Coordinate with sampling, production, and manufacturing teams.
- Translate design concepts into production-ready garments.
- Contribute creative ideas aligned with Ruchs’ design philosophy and brand identity.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Students or graduates from reputed fashion design institutes.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and print development.
- Good command of tech-pack creation and Adobe Illustrator.
- A strong design portfolio showcasing technical skills and creativity.
- Attention to detail, a learning mindset, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Genuine interest in fashion, sustainability, and building a growing brand.
Job Details
- Location: Sector 2, Gurgaon
- Work Mode: Full-time, Work From Office
- Positions: Fashion Design Intern & Fashion Designer
For Fashion Design Intern
- Eligibility: Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a reputed fashion design college.
- Stipend: ₹10,000-₹15,000 per month
- Growth Opportunity: Potential conversion to a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) after 3 months, based on performance, skills, and mutual fit.
For Fashion Designer
- Eligibility: Recent graduates to candidates with up to 2 years of professional experience.
- Salary: ₹18,000-₹30,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
