About the Role
The Electrical Engineer role at J.J.INDUSTRIES is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Electrical Engineer will design and develop electrical systems and layouts for industrial and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with safety codes and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review schematics.
- Coordinate power distribution plans.
- Perform load calculations.
- Support installation and commissioning activities.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and technicians.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Participate in inspections and quality checks.
- Work with vendors and clients to clarify specifications and support project delivery within timelines and budgets.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with electrical design and drafting software.
- Proficiency with basic office productivity tools.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering and Electricity expertise, with a solid understanding of core electrical principles and applications.
- Electrical Design skills, with the ability to create and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
- Power Distribution skills, including planning and configuring distribution systems for industrial and commercial environments.
- Power Systems skills, including analysis, load calculations, and system protection and reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial electrical projects in or around Ahmedabad is an advantage.
