About the Role
Alignerr is seeking E-commerce Data Analysts for a fully remote, flexible contract role. The position involves reviewing, categorizing, and improving product data for AI shopping and recommendation systems.

What You'll Do
- Review product listings for accuracy, completeness, and correct categorization.
- Evaluate AI-generated product descriptions and recommendations for quality and relevance.
- Tag and classify products using structured category systems and guidelines.
- Identify duplicate, misleading, or low-quality product entries.
- Provide clear, structured feedback to help improve AI-powered product search and discovery.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Who You Are
- Comfortable navigating online shopping platforms and familiar with how product categories work.
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, systematic approach to tasks.
- Able to work with structured data and web-based tools.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
- No prior e-commerce, retail, or AI experience required.
Nice to Have
- Experience in retail, merchandising, inventory, or product management.
- Background in data entry, quality assurance, or content moderation.
- Familiarity with AI tools or e-commerce platforms as a regular user.
