About the Role
The Web Development Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications and features.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with front-end interface implementation.
- Contributing to back-end functionality.
- Testing and debugging code.
- Collaborating with team members to enhance user experience.
- Updating existing pages.
- Optimizing performance.
- Ensuring responsive design across devices.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Documenting technical work.
- Learning best practices in modern web development under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational understanding of Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development.
- Basic knowledge of Web Design, including layout, user experience, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or similar technologies is beneficial.
- Interest in learning modern frameworks, version control (e.g., Git), and best practices in web development is preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with mentors, peers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to feedback and new technologies.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous.
