Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading the strategic direction, operations, and growth of UAE Creative Local Community.

Day-to-day tasks include:

• Shaping the community vision.
• Setting priorities.
• Overseeing initiatives that foster collaboration and support among members.
• Managing online and offline community activities.
• Coordinating open sessions and curated gatherings.
• Ensuring effective communication across social media and digital channels.
• Building and maintaining relationships with partners, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
• Identifying new opportunities to increase visibility and member engagement.
• Overseeing budgets and resources.
• Guiding volunteers or core team members.
• Monitoring performance metrics to ensure sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Community leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience guiding networks, initiatives, or member-driven organizations.
• Strategic planning and project management skills to design, implement, and evaluate programs, events, and long-term community goals.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and networking skills to host sessions, lead discussions, and build relationships across diverse creative disciplines.
• Digital and social media skills, including familiarity with LinkedIn and other platforms for content sharing, visibility, and community engagement.
• Experience or deep understanding of the creative, media, advertising, production, or events landscape in the UAE.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Media, Business) or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous experience in executive, director-level, or community-building roles is highly beneficial.
