About the Role

As a cashier at the Zurich AI Festival, you will be responsible for the professional handling of all on-site payment transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing cash and card payments.
• Issuing receipts.
• Operating the cash register system.
• Careful cash management and reconciliation at the end of the day.
• Assisting visitors with questions regarding tickets, prices, and payment methods.
• Collaborating closely with the service and organization team to ensure a smooth festival flow.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash register or POS systems.
• Secure handling of cash and card payments.
• Strong service orientation and communication skills in direct contact with visitors.
• Reliable, accurate, and responsible work ethic, especially in cash management and documentation.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts and evening hours.
• Comfortable in a dynamic festival environment.

Of advantage:

• Experience in an event or retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of English.
• Basic knowledge of digital payment methods.
