About the Role
Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is seeking a Put-Away Dock Checker for its warehouse facilities in Detroit. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and put away product within the warehouse.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
- Scan and put away non-damaged products correctly in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist on the returns dock as needed.
- Perform light janitorial duties as needed.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM and working until the job is finished.
- Occasional Saturdays may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs.
Pay & Benefits
- $18.00 per hour

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to be active and on your feet for an entire shift.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 55 lbs.
- Ability to push or pull up to 100 lbs.
- Hi-Lo / Pallet Jack experience (preferred - willing to train).

- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
- Cooperate with all management and staff of GLWAS.
- Follow all MLCC rules and regulations.
- Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
