About the Role

The Reporter role at TinyVerse is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop story ideas.
• Conduct interviews.
• Gather facts and verify information for news and feature pieces.
• Write clear, accurate, and engaging articles.
• Cover events.
• Monitor news sources.
• Collaborate with editors and multimedia teams to produce content in various formats.
• Meet deadlines.
• Follow editorial guidelines.
• Maintain high ethical standards.
• Represent TinyVerse in the field and in the newsroom.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Reporting and News Writing skills.
• Excellent Writing and Communication skills.
• Multimedia skills for working with photos, video, audio, and digital platforms.
• Strong research, fact-checking, and critical thinking abilities.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced newsroom environment and meeting tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools, social media, and basic SEO practices is an advantage.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, media studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior internship or professional experience in newsrooms or media organizations is beneficial.
