About the Role

Veellon is a growing content company focused on delivering engaging and high-quality visual media. This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble raw footage, select the best shots, and create cohesive, compelling video content that aligns with project goals and brand guidelines.
• Edit video sequences.
• Apply color correction and grading.
• Incorporate graphics and motion elements.
• Prepare final deliverables in required formats.
• Collaborate with content creators, producers, and designers to refine storylines, maintain consistent visual style, and meet deadlines.
• Organize media assets.
• Manage project files.
• Provide creative input to improve overall production quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Video Production and Video Editing skills.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics.
• Experience with industry-standard editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or similar).

Qualifications

• Strong skills in assembling footage, trimming clips, and creating smooth transitions.
• Understanding of color theory, exposure, and visual consistency.
• Ability to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong visual sense.
• Ability to follow creative briefs while contributing original ideas.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Kolkata.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is required.
