Buyer

About the Role

The Buyer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of IT products and services that support secure and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source vendors.
• Request and evaluate quotations.
• Negotiate pricing and terms.
• Ensure timely ordering and delivery of hardware, software, and related services.
• Maintain accurate purchase records.
• Track inventory levels.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Monitor supplier performance.
• Support cost-optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and budgets.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of IT products and services, especially those related to secure infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software licensing.
• Proficiency in using procurement or ERP tools, spreadsheets, and documentation systems to manage purchase orders and records.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract coordination.
• Ability to analyze quotations, compare technical and commercial terms, and make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical, finance, and operations teams.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a buyer or procurement role within IT or technology-focused organizations is preferred.
