About the Role

As an Assistant in Occupational Therapy, you will support occupational therapists in planning and executing occupational therapy measures for patients. This is a full-time position located on-site in Bengaluru. You will work closely within an interdisciplinary team and make a significant contribution to improving patients' independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing therapy sessions.
• Assisting with exercises to promote motor, cognitive, and social skills.
• Documenting treatment progress.
• Participating in the organization of rehabilitation programs.
• Supporting patient and family counseling.
• Contributing to safe and appreciative care.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy & Rehabilitation: Basic knowledge of occupational therapy, rehabilitation processes, and therapeutic methods.
• Patient Care & Home Visits: Experience or interest in direct patient care, including support with home care and everyday-oriented exercises.
• Program and Therapy Development: Ability to assist in the development, adaptation, and implementation of individual therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Additional Skills: Teamwork, empathy, intercultural competence, good communication skills, and a structured and reliable work ethic.
• Education & Knowledge: Completed or ongoing training in the occupational therapy or therapeutic field, basic knowledge of medical documentation, and willingness for continuous professional development are advantageous.
