Service Technician

About the Role

Tecta America New England is seeking Commercial Roofers in Bloomfield, CT. This role offers full-time, year-round work, career advancement opportunities, and great benefits. Pay starts at $22+/hr. BOE. A sign-on bonus of $250-$750 is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, & PVC.
• Work under the direction of the crew's Foreman.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Commercial roofing experience preferred; training provided for the right individuals.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting with varying weather conditions.
• Expected activities include bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders; frequent lifting.
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour.
