About the Role

A full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves planning and executing internal audit assignments across accounting, taxation, payroll, and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and executing internal audit assignments.
• Reviewing financial records and supporting documentation.
• Testing controls.
• Identifying risks or process gaps.
• Preparing clear audit workpapers.
• Performing financial audits.
• Evaluating process effectiveness.
• Collaborating with accounting and finance teams.
• Maintaining documentation accuracy.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal policies and procedures.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with accounting and audit tools, spreadsheets, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data and process flows.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing audit reports and conducting financial audits.
• Sound understanding of finance, accounting principles, and internal control frameworks.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA) are an advantage.
• Attention to detail, ethical judgment, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in internal audit, external audit, or similar assurance roles is preferred.
