About the Role
Compassion International is seeking interns for its 2027 Summer Internship program. This is a paid, in-person internship based at Compassion's Global HQ in Colorado Springs, CO. The program offers an opportunity to explore your career and calling within a Christ-centered organization committed to global, holistic child development. Interns will experience deep community, impactful work, and transformative growth.
- Expected salary range: $19.37 - $22.76 per hour.
- Geographic differential may apply for employees in high cost of labor locations in the United States.
- Compassion will provide housing for a low cost.
- Interns are strongly encouraged to provide their own transportation.

Qualifications
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness.
- Act as an advocate to raise awareness of the needs of children and understand Christ’s mandate to protect children.
- Commit to and prioritize child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks, and activities.
- Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct.
- Report any concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children.
- Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
- Be a college junior, senior, or recent graduate with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2029.
- Be available for the entire internship period: May 24 to July 30, 2027.
- Ability to work Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm during the internship.
- Legally eligible for employment in the United States (e.g., if an international student, must already have a work or study visa, SSN, etc.).
