About the Role
As a back-end developer, you will identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for clients. You will use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. You will work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability, making a mission-forward impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise products and applications using Java.
- Work with back-end frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus.
- Utilize Git and GitLab CI/CD for version control and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
- Collaborate within a team environment.
Requirements & Tech Stack

- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire date
Nice To Have
- Experience with AI or ML pipelines and processes
- Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) software patterns
- Experience with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with geospatial tools and datasets
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Experience building real-time data processing applications using streaming libraries such as Kafka Streams
- Experience with Metadata Management (e.g., Data Catalogs, Advana)
- Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j
- Knowledge of analytic platforms such as Kafka or Spark
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation Range: $69,400.00 - $158,000.00 annually
