About the Role

PlanetSpark is looking for Maths Teachers/Tutors to join our mission of equipping children with 21st-century life skills, emphasizing mathematical literacy. We provide live 1:1 personalized classes to students in 13+ countries, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach math as a dynamic, engaging, and practical subject to nurture 21st-century life skills.
• Conduct interactive demo classes using real-life scenarios to demonstrate the value of math.
• Create a fun and engaging learning environment that inspires curiosity and confidence in math.
• Facilitate personalized regular classes blending foundational concepts with advanced problem-solving skills.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their mathematical reasoning and build a growth mindset.
• Adhere to schedules with punctuality and professionalism for demo and regular classes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Laptop with a webcam and high-speed Wi-Fi for seamless online teaching.
• Availability: Willingness to work six days a week, including weekends.
• Teaching Hours: Dedicate 3-4 hours daily.
• Work From Home: Flexibility to teach from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Excellent Teaching Skills: Ability to break down complex concepts into simple, relatable lessons.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and clarity in explaining mathematical concepts and solving problems.
• Engaging and Interactive: Ability to build strong relationships with students and make math fun and approachable.
• Tech Savvy: Leverage digital tools and platforms to deliver dynamic, interactive lessons.
• Strong Communication Skills: Proficiency in English.
• Teaching Experience: At least 1 year of experience in math or a related field.

Shifts available:

• 3pm to 10 pm IST (India kids)
• 6pm to 11 pm IST (India kids)
