Automobile Premium Car Mechanic

About the Role

The Automobile Premium Car Mechanic will perform day-to-day diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of premium vehicles, with a focus on Skoda and Tata passenger cars. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Gurudev Motors facilities in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Carry out scheduled services and complex repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Work closely with the service advisor team to understand customer concerns.
• Document work performed.
• Ensure high levels of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Follow workshop processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and general Automotive knowledge.
• Proven expertise in Automotive Repair, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component replacement for premium cars.
• Commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with service advisors and customers.
• Ability to follow safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a service team.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive technician training or ITI/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience working with premium or luxury vehicles and familiarity with OEM service manuals and diagnostic tools is beneficial.
