About the Role
The Architectural Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings and ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and working details.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
- Revise drawings based on design changes.
- Maintain organized drawing records.
- Support the planning team with layout optimization and design documentation.
- Assist in preparing drawings for approvals.
- Collaborate with site teams to resolve drawing-related queries.
- Contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of project delivery.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Architectural Drawings and Drawing skills
- Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning
- Experience creating and updating Construction Drawings
- Proficiency in relevant CAD/drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar)
- Familiarity with digital file management
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Draughtsmanship, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurement and notation.
- Ability to meet project timelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Prior experience in real estate or building construction projects in Mumbai or similar urban environments is an advantage.
