About the Role

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and application deployments. You will work with the engineering team to automate routine tasks, monitor system health and troubleshoot issues, helping keep development and production environments reliable and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with deploying and maintaining applications and cloud resources on AWS, GCP, and DigitalOcean under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, including build checks, deployments, and rollback procedures.
• Monitor application availability, logs, and alerts; investigate issues and escalate incidents with clear findings.
• Maintain Linux servers and Docker containers, and automate routine tasks using Bash or Python.
• Assist with access controls, secrets management, security updates, backups, and recovery checks.
• Document configurations and deployment procedures, and help identify unused resources to control cloud costs.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of AWS, GCP, and DigitalOcean, with practical exposure to at least one through work, internships, or projects.
• Familiarity with Linux commands, Git, networking fundamentals, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Understanding of CI/CD and Docker, with the ability to write or adapt simple Bash or Python scripts.
• Ability to troubleshoot methodically, communicate clearly, and learn new tools with guidance.
• A relevant degree or diploma, ongoing studies, or equivalent practical skills demonstrated through projects.

Working Days: Monday - Saturday
