About the Role
As an Assistant in Occupational Therapy, you will support occupational therapy care for patients in clinical and home settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and accompaniment of therapy sessions.
- Support in the execution of rehabilitation programs.
- Documentation of treatment progress.
- Assistance in planning individual support measures.
- Participation in developing programs to improve daily living skills.
- Providing support and advice to patients and their families.
- The position is full-time and on-site.
- Location: Greater Chennai Area.
Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation: Knowledge of occupational therapy, support for rehabilitation measures, and goal-oriented work towards promoting patient independence.
- Patient Care and Support: Experience in patient care, empathetic interaction with diverse age and needs groups, and practical support in daily life.
- Program and Measure Development: Ability to contribute to the development and adaptation of therapy programs and implement standardized and individual support concepts.
- Outpatient and Home Care: Understanding of home care structures and the ability to adapt therapy content to home environment conditions.
- Additional Requirements:
- Completed relevant training in the therapeutic, nursing, or medical field.
- Basic medical knowledge.
- Teamwork skills.
- Sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills in spoken and written word.
